"Delegates" are those people who have been officially nominated by their church at a church meeting to represent them at BUV Gatherings and Assemblies.

Ordained Baptist Ministers, as well as a number of special positions within the BUV and its Agencies are also considered to be Delegates.

The "Delegates Dinner Info Pack" below is designed to assist delegates of the Assembly of the Baptist Union of Victoria to consider the issues to be discussed on the upcoming Delegates Dinner on Friday 10 October 2008, and to engage in more meaningful discussion on the night.  In one instance, there is an exercise for you to do in advance of the night, but for the most part it is for your thought and prayer to prepare you for the evening.

In some cases, there may be those who are NOT delegates who wish to attend the dinner and be a part of the discussion and discernment process, even though they will not be able to vote. These people are most welcome.

All those wishing to attend the Delegates Dinner you MUST register. Please note - we cannot accommodate those who show up without registering.
