BUV Logo and Style Guide

BUV Style Guide CD Rom

The BUV style guide CD Rom has been developed to give Victorian churches access to all necessary files of the 2005-revised Baptist Union of Victoria logo so that the Victorian churches can implement it according to their application needs.

The BUV style guide also outlines key guidelines of how to use the logo, this to help maintain the integrity and reinforce the branding of the Baptist Union of Victoria and therefore must be implemented in all related BUV communication.

However packaged within the style guide CD Rom is a host of other resources that Victorian churches can use within their communication needs such as the BUV photo library which is a Library of images that have captured the Baptist community celebrating and practicing church in their various forms of expression and metaphors that symbolizes our faith.

The Victorian churches can also select from the 30 various logo options packaged with the style guide for their use in redesigning their church logo if they wish to. Victorian Churches do not have to adopt the new BUV logo, however this is encouraged.

At the April 2005 Baptist Union of Victoria Executive Council meeting it was decided “that grants be made available for churches with less than 100 members to assist with the costs associated with the re-branding for the new Baptist Union logo of up to $500”.

The Baptist Union of Victoria hopes that this resource to churches will offer vital tools in their mission to “share the love of Jesus” in their community.
