Lift (Children)
Who is the lift team? The Lift team is made up of pastors and children's workers who are employed by some of our Baptist Churches.
Our Vision: To empower Victorian Baptists Churches to share the love of Jesus with children and their families.
Our Purpose:
• To LIFT the importance of family in ministry with children
• To LIFT the profile of Children and Families ministry
in our churches
• To LIFT this generation of children up to God in prayer
• To LIFT the spirits of children's ministry workers through networking, resourcing and communication
• To LIFT each other up through prayer and fellowship
With this purpose in mind it is our desire to see children come into a personal relationship with Jesus.
The LIFT team is the official body representing Children's Ministry Workers for the Baptist Union of Victoria, so use us to air your concerns, your needs and also your ideas to help further the work amongst children in our churches. Should this trigger a response with you we would love to connect with you.
We have a range of ideas in the pipeline to help you with your tasks from running regional workshops, to a kids camp, to resources and networking. Keep your ears and eyes alert for ways you can link in LIFT and use us to assist your ministry and the children you serve.
May you and your leaders be inspired, trained and equipped to be all that God wants you to be and may the children see in you something of the warmth and compassion of Jesus.
