Making a Claim

The incident or event that results in a claim can be stressful; in some cases the process of lodging a claim can be as stressful. 

The BUV Insurance team is dedicated to creating an easy and effortless claims process.
We have put together a few handy hints that can assist with the process. 

• Report incidents to the Baptist Union as soon as possible.
• Incidents of Burglary, Theft (or attempted theft) and Malicious Damage must be reported to the police.
• Take all reasonable steps to safeguard the damage property so that no further damage/loss occurs.
• In the event of Personal Injury, please make sure that the injured person is provided with required medical assistance.
• Forward a completed claim form to the BUV insurance team.
• Supply supporting documentation to verify ownership of property.
• Supply us with quotations for Replacement/Repair for damages.
