Baptist Union provides financial services and help to churches in the following areas:

Personnel: Stipends; Conditions; Statement of Understanding; Position Descriptions and other workplace issues for Pastoral and Administration Staff.

Loans and Grants: The BUV has several funds that can provide financial assistance to churches.

Tax: Assistance with understanding and applying the GST and FBT tax regulations.

Accounting: Financial reporting and budget assistance for Church Treasurers.

2010 Budget

The budget has been approved by Executive Council. The budget has a small deficit (in recognition of the economic conditions and its impact on our investment income), wages will be indexed, and there will be no net increase in BUV staff numbers.
