Through the Australian Baptist Insurance Scheme we at the BUV are able to provide our constituents with a wide range of insurance covers .Our service guarantee provides you with the security that all claims are processed promptly and fairly. We strive to provide our churches and members with the highest level of service.

 

Most property claims are handled in-house and we hope to finalise your claim within 7 working days of receipt, subject to receiving all relevant documentation.

Making a Claim

The incident or event that results in a claim can be stressful; in some cases the process of lodging a claim can be as stressful.

The BUV Insurance team is dedicated to creating an easy and effortless claims process. We have put together a few handy hints that can assist with the process.

-Report incidents to the Baptist Union as soon as possible.
-Incidents of Burglary, Theft (or attempted theft) and Malicious Damage must be reported to the police.
-Take all reasonable steps to safeguard the damaged property so that no further damage/loss occurs.
-In the event of Personal Injury, please make sure that the injured person is provided with required medical assistance.
-Forward a completed claim form to the BUV insurance team.
-Supply supporting documentation to verify ownership of property.
-Supply us with quotations for Replacement/Repair for damages.
