Treasurers' Guide

It is pleasing to be able to introduce to a new guide for Treasurers and Administrators.  Many of you will be familiar with the current GST guide that provides excellent advise specific to Churches about GST matters.  The guide is provided by Saward Dawson, who audits the BUV’s accounts and assist us with general tax and financial advice.  The expanded guide will cover topics specific to the Treasurer/Administrator role in a local church.    The topics will include understanding your church structure and financial requirements, internal controls, reporting, managing property plant and equipment, investment, fundraising and tax advice including advise on tax deductible funds.
