Tita COOK
A gifted and passionate speaker with women’s ministry and public speaking/teaching experience both in Australia and internationally. Tita Cook’s calling is to equip and empower people to discover the richness of a dynamic Christian lifestyle and then put into practice relevant principles into everyday life. Born in Mexico, Tita has a wide experience in practical ministry in a number of countries, cultures and languages is well grounded in real life issues and experiences. She is married with 2 adolescent boys.

Diana DOW
Diana trained as a librarian in England and migrated to Williamstown in 1974. there she met and married her husband, adopting an 11 year old son in ’86, bringing daily opportunities to prove the Lord’s faithfulness. Currently Diana serves as a part-time pastor of a Missional Baptist Church, she offers prayer counseling and teaches Kingdom living. Her long involvement with Know Your Bible (CWCI) continues as a speaker and teacher. Diana believes that it is the Word of God that transforms lives and the Truth which sets people free. Her pastimes include reading and walking.

Ann HARDING
Ann came to Melbourne 7 years ago from the UK. She has served as an Associate Pastor of a Church plant, been the Outreach Coordinator for the Victorian Baptist Women, has initiated and led women’s ministries in the local church, including Crossway Baptist Church, and is currently establishing her Personal Life coaching practice. Ann is an inspirational speaker, bringing encouragement and hope to women through her own life experiences and led by her passionate desire to see every woman equipped, empowered and released into their God-given potential. Her topics include Marriage, Depression and the Christian, Building a Ministry for women and topics relating to hurts & healing.

Yvonne is a pastor and mother of two with a passion for seeing churches connect with their local community. Yvonne became a Christian as a teenager and her testimony is a story of God creating a new identity and is a challenge about owning your past. Yvonne completed a Bachelor of Ministry and has worked as a Youth Pastor. Having spent 6 years working at the BUV Yvonne has a good understanding of what God is doing in our churches. Yvonne is a passionate speaker and teacher, loves facilitating discussions and is currently the President of the BUV.

Gwyn MILNE
A Christian since 16 years, Gwyn is a trained teacher, has been a Pastor for 15 years and is currently Associate Pastor/Pastoral Care & Life Groups at Bendigo Baptist. Gwyn has been the Former President of the BUV, Former President of Baptist Union of Australia, member of Advisory Board with the BUV and Member of the Board of Baptist World Aid Australia so she widely connected to the Baptist family. She is a gifted speaker and workshop facilitator speaking on the role of women in the church, pastoral care, mentoring, grief, family, marriage and parenting conflict resolution. Gwyn is married with 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren and her hobbies include reading, hospitality, outdoors, music, knitting and sewing.

Julia POPE
Julie came to Jesus as a 21 year old, having grown up in a non-Christian home and been involved in New Age practices and the occult. She is married an Olympic swimming coach and they have two boys aged 9 and 12. Julia has been a leader in outreach ministry for almost 6 years in one of Victoria’s larger Baptist churches overseeing ministry teams in areas such as newcomers and welcome, The Alpha Course, outreach special events. Currently Julia is completing a Bachelor of Theology at Tabor College Victoria which she hopes to complete at the end of 2011. Some of Julia's passions include engaging with audiences in relevant ways, showing others the love Jesus has for them and to help followers of Jesus engage with 'not-yet' Christians in authentic ways. She also loves to teach people and help them discover a love for the scriptures which leads to a deeper love with Jesus. Julia enjoys creative arts like music and theatre and finds enjoyment in watching cartoons with her boys especially Sponge Bob Square-pants!

Heather PACKETT
Heather is a Pastor in the Creative Department at Crossway. She is also a wife and mother of two. Heather's passion is to see God's people released into their full potential in God and to understand other people better, to bring about satisfaction in relationships and their life. Heather, along with speaking is an experienced worship leader and vocalist and endevours to train and inspire others in their ministries.

Beth BARNETT
Beth is currently the Children's and Families facilitator for the Baptist Union of Victoria. For many years she has been a passionate champion of opening the Bible in the ways of Jesus as the foundation of inclusive, creativeand adventurous worship and mission. From a background of music and education, Beth has trained and resourced those who serve children and families for the past 2 decades. She loves to engage in the godly art of risk taking and to encourage others in doing the same - in their families, in their worship, in their mission and in their personal healing.

Rev Roslyn H WRIGHT
Prior to theological studies, Roslyn worked in a number of different areas: primary education, adult employment training, industrial chaplaincy, and spirituality. She was a founding member of Westgate Baptist Community. Roslyn began formal studies in spirituality at the Heart of Life Spirituality Centre in 1994 and later joined their staff working as a supervisor, spiritual director and course facilitator. She then worked on the joint pastoral team at North Carlton and Church of the Pilgrim before serving as pastoral leader at Rosanna Baptist Church. Ordained in 2006, she is Director of Field Education at Whitley College, and her current BUV involvement includes membership of the Ordination Pathways Group. She is President of the Victorian Association for Theological Field Education, a member of the (international) Association for Theological Field Education, Australian Network for Spiritual Direction, and Spiritual Directors International. She has commenced PhD studies. Roslyn has returned as a member to Westgate and co-ordinates the worship committee. She is married to Patrick, and between them they have four adult children.

Barb SCHUMANN
Barb is married with 2 children, and was the women's Pastor at New Hope Baptist Church (Blackburn North) for 5 years. "I love gathering wth friends for coffee and cake and have a terrible reputation as a chocoholic! I love going to the beach to recharge my batteries! I am passionate about gathering women of all ages together and creating a place where they can be equipped in God's Word and be inspired and to live out their faith to their full potential.

Karen WILSON (interstate speaker)
Karen is maried with 2 adult children. She has been the Co Senior Pastor at Whitford Church WA, along with her husband Mark, for seventeen years and is currently the Western Australian Baptist Women State Leader. In 2007, she left local church ministry to work full-time for Willow Creek Association where she currently holds the position of Executive Director for the Global Leadership Summit in Australiasia. Karen has a passion for seeing men and women released in their gifting. Her work involves connecting people across cultures and generations and she is passionate about personal growth and inspiring this in others.

Kim MIATKE
Kim is a counselor, wife, mother of three children and head of Hertime women’s ministry at Heathmont Baptist Church. 10 years of journeying with people in the counseling room, 6 years ministering with Youth Dimension and 4 years of leading Hertime have given Kim a broad range of opportunities, challenges and perspectives that she loves to share.

Bernadette BLACK (Tasmania)
Bernie was awarded the Bardardos Australian Mother of the Year 2009 award, is Author of “Brave Little Bear: the inspiration story of a teenage mother”. Founding Director of Brave Foundation a not for profit registered Charity to provide educational opportunities and scholarships for young women facing unplanned pregnancy and ranked first in the nation wide web poll, “Australia’s most Confident Woman". Although these accolades hold a special importance to Bernie, is it her strong commitment to helping others walk out a life by design that she is most passionate about in her role as professional speaker. Suzie Botross
Suzie Botross has a passion to see women live out their ultimate God-given call and destiny. Suzie and her husband Peter have been Crossway church planters in the inner city suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, where Suzie pioneered and lead "Rouge Women's Ministry." Suzie is a vibrant speaker and workshop facilitator. She is the author of the recently published “She Will Run”, written to empower women to be more like Jesus by developing their personal, relational and spiritual lives.
Suzie is also the Director of Devenir Learning and Development Consultants, where she writes and facilitates professional and personal development workshops and seminars for multinational corporations. Suzie has been married for sixteen years and has three children.

Amanda Tuohy
Amanda has regularly spoken at churchs, women's groups, and also secular groups about her faith and art, bringing a message of inspiration concerning our amazing Creator. with degrees in Theology and creative arts, Amanda seeks to bring a Biblical perspective on Arts and creativity. Amanda has studies music, classically trained as a vocalist, and has ministered in song at numerous churches, conferences, and many special events. As a wildlife artist she has won a "Best Exhibit" from the prestigious Wildlife Art Society of Australasia. She is a passionate Christ-centred speaker who has a message of hope that flows from the wonderful grace of Jesus.
