The BUV aims to empower leaders of specialist ministries through:

• providing access to resources and specialist networks related to various ministries
• creating structured opportunities for local church specialist ministry leaders to network with others in the Baptist Union and experts beyond the Baptist church, to develop and grow leaders and effective mission in the various specialist ministry areas.
