Victorian Baptist Women recognise two important ministry expressions for women in the local church
1. Contemporary local church women’s ministry networks
We assist through providing workshops, resources, events and speakers to develop local church women ministries that provide guidance on contemporary women’s issues, emphasize making disciples, cultivate intergenerational mentoring and counselling and encourage coordination of ministries that intentionally reach community.
2. Identifying and Nurturing Women Gifted to Lead
We encourage the development of women leaders. We focus on developing leadership character and confidence, support young emergent women leaders, develop mentors, offer peer support and training networks, provide resources and training events to maximize ministry effectiveness and personal growth.
