Through the Baptist Insurance Services we at the BUV are able to provide our constituents with a wide range of insurance covers. Our service guarantee provides you with the security that all claims are processed promptly and fairly. We strive to provide our churches and members with the highest level of service.
Most property claims are handled in-house and we hope to finalise your claim within 7 working days of receipt, subject to receiving all relevant documentation.

Payment plan service for 2021-2022 Baptist Insurance Premium Renewal
Baptist Insurance Services Insurance renewal invoices will be distributed in the month of September 2021.
Please note that arrangements for the payment of your insurance invoice have changed this year. In previous years the BUV had the capacity to receive payments in instalments over several months. This is unfortunately no longer possible and the FULL BALANCE is STRICTLY payable by the due date. Failure to make payment in full by the due date will jeopardise your insurance policy potentially leaving you uninsured and unable to make a claim.
With the understanding that this new requirement may adversely impact some entities, arrangements have been made with Baptist Financial Services (BFS) to provide a payment plan service for a fee for those who choose not to pay their insurance invoice in one lump sum.
See below for documentation on the instalment payment options and the process to access it. All details are also included in an email you will have received from Baptist Insurance Services (BIS).
