Baptcare’s little Sam wins art prize!

One of Baptcare’s lovely Victorian foster children Sam*, aged seven, won first prize in the 2020 Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency Art Competition for painting the Aboriginal flag below as a celebration of last year’s NAIDOC theme “Always Was, Always Will Be”.

Sam included two cut outs of her hands set against a large yellow sun, and a serpent snake decorated with the traditional colours of the Aboriginal flag. What a budding little artist she is!

We take the time to celebrate Sam for her achievements and all the amazing foster carers who continue to make a difference in the lives of God’s wonderful children.
