Ignite, BUV’s Multicultural Youth & Young Adults Conference held its conference online again this year! Though the crew couldn’t gather again in person, it was such an encouragement to have youth and young adults gather together! 

Around 70 attendees logged on throughout different times of the day, representing 25+ churches with a few LOTE pastors also joining in on the fun! 

Keynote speakers Jessica Kristianto and Dachan Kim rallied the young people with their inspiring talks that centred on #remember and #restart by relying on the Spirit to #renew us as we contribute towards a more resilient, whole and flourishing world. 

The group were were also blessed with fantastic performances from the brilliant Daniel Soe, who opened up the session, The Octave, and the hilarious and fun-loving  Charlene and Filipo who emceed the day together. 

All in all, everyone was encouraged by the amazing gifts, talents and testimonies of the Ignite crew and even online, were able to laugh out loud, sing along, participate and pray for one another.  

Special shoutout to Charlene for putting this together along with Rev Meewon Yang from the BUV. The crew are already looking forward to next year (and hoping it’s face-to-face!).
