In the Baptist Union of Victoria, ordination affirms a pastoral leader’s calling and readiness for spiritual leadership. It involves both the local church and the wider Baptist body discerning the candidate’s call, character, and capacity. The process includes three key phases: completing a Ministry or Theology degree, engaging in the BUV Formation Process, and maintaining Continuing Accreditation.
