BaptistCare in Victoria has grown through the vision, commitment and ministry of Baptist Associations, Churches and faith communities across Australia. In every State and Territory, our services have been shaped by local Baptist communities responding to need with compassion and care.
We acknowledge with deep gratitude the generations of people who have supported this work through faithful prayer, generous giving and hands-on service. Together, you have helped build a legacy of care that continues to impact thousands of lives each day.
In 2025, our organisations in South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia, New South Wales and the ACT came together as one national organisation, strengthening our ability to support individuals and communities across the country.
As we move forward as one national organisation, known as BaptistCare, we do so standing on this strong foundation, with sincere thanks for your ongoing partnership, support and faith in our shared purpose.
Over the past year, we have taken time to reflect on who we are and the heart of our service. Through conversations with our people, residents, clients and communities, three defining themes emerged: Christian faith, care and community.
These ideas have shaped our new Vision, Purpose, Values and Brand. In particular, you will see from our new purpose that we continue to be driven to champion care for all, just as Jesus did, shaping our posture towards the people we serve, the services we engage in, and our partnerships.
