Evangelism as an invitation to missional discipleship in the kingdom of God

Evangelism is re-emerging as to church theology, requiring recovery after harmful past practices. In a post-Christendom context, it is rediscovered as participation in God’s mission and an invitation to missional discipleship. Practiced by the congregation, it integrates witness, service, and proclamation. Research across Dutch Reformed churches supports a holistic, theologically grounded, and contextually discerned approach.
