Welcome to our Spring edition of TOGETHER, an issue packed with wonderful stories from around our union of churches.
In our feature story we focus on the transformative global Baptist event, Baptist World Congress, held in Brisbane in July with reflections from several Victorian Baptists.
In other stories, we celebrate the faithful ministry of three recently retired long serving pastors who have helped to transform their congregations and communities, we shine a spotlight on a recent example of church revitalisation in the outer east and, in other stories, demonstrate how several churches are discipling and encouraging their congregations and communities through Alpha, church camps or by expanding into new buildings.
Finally, you will read some beautiful examples of churches transforming lives within their local communities through social justice initiatives.
I hope you enjoy this update from around our Baptist Union Victoria as we continue together on mission.
