On Saturday 4th December, under the leadership of Reverend Jude Waldron, Armadale Baptist Church launched the opening of their Armadale Community Arts Hub, which is a collection of spaces for community groups (especially performing arts groups) to meet and collaborate, rehearse, learn and perform together and where they forge community connections. 

For the past two years the historically listed church has undergone a complete transformation which will ensure its ongoing gift to the local community. Whilst the sanctuary has been remodelled the remaining rooms have been updated for usage for community groups. Rev Jude, as the community pastor, and Pastor of Armadale Baptist, engages in many conversations with the local community because of an almost constant usage of the church.  

To celebrate the completion, an Open Day was held with Opera singers, a community choir, and arts performances. 

It’s wonderful to see this vision coming to fruition.
