Catalyst Winter Appeal Delivers Warmth Across Two Communities
Catalyst Baptist Church is celebrating the success of its 2025 Catalyst Winter Warm-Up campaign, which saw 283 winter coats, jackets and warm clothing items donated to support individuals and families doing it tough in their local communities of Werribee and Bacchus Marsh.
With cold weather settling in, this year’s campaign rallied both church members and the wider community to take part in a practical effort to ensure no one is left out in the cold. The donated items will be distributed through Catalyst’s local support networks and partner programs to reach those most in need.
“Every jacket represents someone who will now feel warmer, safer and seen this winter. It’s a simple but powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to multiply hope.” said Lead Pastor Rev Stan Richey.
This was the first year running the campaign under its new name Catalyst Winter Warm-Up, building on the momentum of previous years while expanding the initiative to now include both Catalyst’s Werribee and new Bacchus Marsh campus.
“We’re grateful for every person who donated, shared, or supported this effort. It’s more than just clothing, it’s dignity, hope, and practical love in action,” said Stan.
